Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Cinnamon DB collects, how it’s used, and what choices you have.

What we collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address and password (your password is handled directly by our authentication provider and is never stored by us in plain text or otherwise accessible to us). When you use the Service, we store the favorites and watchlist selections you choose to save, associated with your account.

We do not currently collect payment information. If that changes, this policy will be updated before any payment feature goes live.

Cookies

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in between visits. These are functional, not tracking or advertising cookies, and are required for the Service to work if you have an account. Our site analytics (Vercel Web Analytics) do not use cookies at all — they identify visits using a temporary, anonymized signal that is discarded within 24 hours, not a persistent identifier tied to you.

How we use your information

We use your account information to operate the Service: authenticating you, saving your favorites and watchlist, and improving recommendations. We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not use your data for advertising.

Third-party services

Cinnamon DB is built on top of a small number of infrastructure providers who process data on our behalf:

• Supabase — database hosting and account authentication.
• Vercel — website hosting and privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics.
• TMDB — source of movie, cast, and artwork data displayed in the Service. Your account information is not shared with TMDB.

Each of these providers has its own privacy practices governing the infrastructure they operate.

Your rights

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data (favorites and watchlist) at any time, immediately, from Settings → Delete account while signed in. This action cannot be undone and does not have a recovery window.

You can also request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, or request that it be corrected, by contacting us at fabriquefabula@gmail.com. We will respond to verified requests within a reasonable time.

Children’s privacy

Cinnamon DB is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
